In this dynamic workshop\, you’ll explore composition\, visual language\, and techniques to simplify and transform the beauty of Muskoka into expressive\, abstract artwork. \nMorning Session (10 AM – 12 PM) \nWe’ll kick off with a fun exploration of abstracting the Muskoka landscape —think simplified forms\, creating color studies and exciting mark-making with acrylic materials. After a brief review of visual elements and principles\, Linda will guide you through the process\, sharing examples of abstract landscapes\, including her own work. \nLunch Break (12 PM – 1 PM) \nAfternoon Session (1 PM – 3 PM) \nIn the second half\, Linda will demonstrate how to transform your morning sketches into abstract acrylic paintings.
