Muskoka Chautauqua is a not-for-profit organization fostering arts and culture, culminating in a summer festival in the historic village of Windermere.
August 6–15, 2021
Muskoka Chautauqua is a community for the curious and creative.
Springing from a tradition that started 100 years ago, when the village of Windermere attracted North America’s leading thinkers to its shores, Muskoka Chautauqua is one of the longest-running and more iconic cultural institutions in the region.
SUMMER 2021 FESTIVAL DETAILS
With the province officially opening back up, we are excited to announce the details of our Summer 2021 Muskoka Chautauqua Arts & Culture Festival.
Running from August 6–15 in historic Windermere Village, this year we celebrate the 100-year anniversary of Chautauqua’s first season in Windermere. This year’s festival will be located at 1039 Golf Avenue in Windermere (across from The New Baldwins Resort), where we have a new gallery space for art showings and a temporary version of the original outdoor ‘Theater in the Woods’ that hosted similar lectures, discussions and performances on Tobin Island a century ago.
