Like so many others, Muskoka Chautauqua is trying to navigate what our 2020 programming looks like in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to ensure the health and safety of both artists and audiences, the majority of our events for this year will be cancelled. We are excited for the opportunity to re-think and grow our programs and services in a new way so that they continue to educate, inspire and support social and emotional well-being. Things will just look a little different during this time of uneasiness and uncertainty. We are exploring creative ways to operate in a virtual environment, including working with our artist partners to develop some digital content. Connecting to our audiences over cyberspace is better than nothing, but we can’t wait until 2021 (our 100th Anniversary season) when we can gather in person again – sharing the joy and energy that comes with Muskoka Chautauqua’s arts and culture programming.
