‘The 3 Faces of Chautauqua in Muskoka’ with Patrick Boyer
An afternoon talk at the Theatre in the Woods about the positive impacts on Canadian culture of the Muskoka Chautauqua Assembly (“Canada’s Literary Chautauqua”); the Circuit Chautauqua performances in the touring Big Tent shows at Bracebridge, Huntsville, and Gravenhurst; and the movement’s unique contemporary revival with today’s Muskoka Chautauqua Festival.
The event will also serve as a launch of the author’s latest book with its extensive treatment of Muskoka’s Chautauqua story, richly illustrated with heritage photographs. Copies will be available for purchase and author’s signing.
